• Education in preventive awareness in order to avoid a personal attack.
  


• Training in non-combative tactics to avert a personal attack
  


• Discussion of various conventional weapons sold as self-defense tools.
  


• Training in the use of unconventional weapons, and how to effectively apply proven unarmed self defense techniques in the event avoidance or non combative measures fail.
  


• Training against armed assailants.
  


• Training against multiple opponents (the domino theory).
  


• Physical factors of a conflict. Example: (adrenal stress response, natural weapons and weaknesses of the human body).
  


• Psychological factors (proper mindset for successful self-defense).

Family Personal Safety Seminar

You and your family are invited to a family self defense seminar.

Featuring age appropriate instruction by the professional instructors of Monroe Martial Arts at:
990 South Monroe Street.

You will learn:


* The top 20 lures used by predators

* How to protect your children in advance

* The profile of a predator

* Defensive measures you can teach your children

* How to build communication with your children

* How to recognize signs of molestation & abuse

* What to do in the first hours a child is missing

As a parent, it’s scary thinking about what can happen to our kids when we aren’t around. We can’t be with them twenty four hours a day to protect them. Luckily, we can teach them about the dangers of strangers and what to do if they are approached, just as we teach them what to do in case of a fire or other emergency.

Our martial arts school specializes in making children safer in our community. You’re invited and encouraged to participate in our next personal safety seminar for children ages 6 & older.



The interactive seminar will cover:
